New Class : Variations for Small Spaces
Beginning October 25th you’ll be able to join me for a new class at BalletX on Zoom! Every Sunday from 2:30-3:30 pm EST I’ll be teaching "Variations for Small Spaces” for students from Beginner to Advanced.
WHO : Dancers of all levels can enjoy learning a classical variation from your favorite ballet. It does help to have at least a Beginner level familiarity with classical technique.
WHAT : A variation is a 1-3 minute solo featuring a soloist or principal dancer. Lead characters of ballets will have variations, but also secondary, and tertiary characters will have their own solos sometimes. These solos will be modified for different skill levels and also for the different small spaces where we dance.
WHERE : Your home studio on Zoom!
WHEN : Every Sunday following Advanced Beginner Ballet , class begins at 2:30 pm EST.
WHY : While learning variations is not crucial to your technique, it is a wonderful way to level up the work you already put in by challenging yourself in new ways. Artistry is highlighted and a deeper appreciation for the craft of ballet is built.
HOW : You can sign up for this class on Mind Body, look for BalletX
